Training is one of the main pillars of the Music on the Road Festivalwhich, in this 8th edition, brings to Manaus masterclasses and workshops with great names in opera and a dance company that is a critical success in the country and the world. The free program will take place between March 21st (Thursday) and March 23rd (Saturday).
Presented by Caixa Seguradora, the Festival Música na Estrada 8th edition is a realization of the Federal Government through the Ministry of Citizenship, through the Rouanet Law, Kommitment Produções Artísticas and, in Manaus, has the partnership of the State Department of Culture of Amazonas (SEC).
O Palácio da Justiça Cultural Center and the Installation Theater will receive the tenor Flávio Leitethe baritone Inacio De Nonno, the soprano Camila Titinger and the cast of the Cisne Negro Dance Company to share experiences with the public of Manauara. Registration is free and can be done through the the Festival's websiteon the "Registration" tab. Places are limited.
Flávio, Inacio and Camila are the soloists invited to participate in the scenic cantata Carmina Buranaby Carl Off (1895-1982), on March 24th, at 7pm, and the Black Swan Company will share the stage with the Corpo de Dança do Amazonas to present "Mrs. Margareth", by Israeli choreographer Barak Marshal, on March 23rd, at 8pm. The free performances will be held at Teatro Amazonas.
Festival
Since 2011, the Festival Music on the Road promotes accessibility, audience formation and musical improvement through the exchange and appreciation of artistic content from various regions of the country.
Considered one of the most relevant projects in the North of the country and already incorporated into the calendar of many cities, the 8th edition of the Festival takes place from November 2018 to May 2019 in the cities of Boa Vista, Belém, Manaus, Brasília and Porto Velho.

Flávio Leite
Tenor Flávio Leite will give the first masterclass of the program, on March 21, from 2 pm to 5 pm, at the Palace of Justice. A frequent presence on the main national stages, Leite has established himself as one of the most active and versatile Brazilian lyric singers of his generation.
He has accumulated experience in operas ranging from Il CombattimentodiTancredi and Clorindaby Monteverdi, to Lulu with more than 50 characters in eight different languages already in repertoire, developed in 15 years of professional career.
With special attention to operas by contemporary Brazilian composers, in the last few years he has given the world premieres of the operas Dulcinéia and Trancoso and the Opera of the Enchanted Mambembe, by Eli-Eri Moura, O Menino e a Liberdade, by Ronaldo Miranda, O Perigo da Arte, by Tim Rescala, recorded the opera A Estranha, by Vagner Cunha, and participated in the award-winning modern version of the last opera by Villa-Lobos, A Menina das Nuvens.
He is also very active as a chamber musician and soloist in oratorios and symphonic works. Flávio Leite has a post-graduate degree from the Conservatório Superior del Liceu, in Barcelona, and a Master in Music from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
Inacio De Nonno
On March 22, also at the Palácio da Justiça, at the same time, baritone Inacio De Nonno will talk about his experience with singing. D. in music from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and a master in music from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Nonno is an award winner at the 12th International Singing Competition of Rio de Janeiro. He has participated in 32 CDs dedicated to the Brazilian repertoire, and received the São Paulo Association of Art Critics (APCA) prize, and the 1998 Sharp prize for the CD of the opera Colombo, by Carlos Gomes.
In his repertoire, Inacio De Nonno emphasizes the ancient music, the lied German lied, with emphasis on Schubert's song cycles, and also French song, where he approaches composers such as Ravel, Fauré, and Poulenc. In opera, Nonno has 38 roles effectively performed in public.
Camila Titinger
Camila Titinger will give the last masterclass at the Palace of Justice, on March 23, also from 2pm to 5pm. The Italian-Brazilian soprano has been featured in Europe for the past three years and has also performed in leading soprano roles in concert halls and opera theaters in Brazil.
In 2015, Camila was one of the winners of the NeueStimmen International Singing Competition in Germany. She was one of the winners in the Paris Opera Competition at the Théatre des Champs-Élyséesin Paris, and also won the GiusyDevinu Competition in Cagliari, Italy.
Her most recent achievement was in June 2018, when she became one of the winners of the International Belvedere Competition in Latvia, where she was awarded a contract for performances at the AaltoTheater und Philharmonie Essenin Germany.
Camila has already performed at the opening concert of the Bregenz Festival, in Austria, conducted by Paolo Carignani, with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra; at the Toulon Opera, in France, as the Contessa diAlmaviva in a production of Mozart's opera The Marriage of Figaro; at the Royal Theater of Madrid, with Villa-Lobos' "Bachianas Brasileiras nº 5", among other cities.
In 2019, the soprano will make her London debut at the Garsington Opera Festival, performing Donna Anna, in Mozart's opera Don Giovanni.
Black Swan Dance Company
On March 22, starting at 4 pm, at Teatro da Instalação, the casts of Cisne Negro Dance Company and Corpo de Dança do Amazonas (CDA) present the Creative Workshop on Contemporary Language.
Under the artistic direction of Hulda Bittencourt and Dany Bittencourt, the Cisne Negro Dance Company is considered one of the best contemporary companies in the country. A critical and public success, the group has been in existence for more than 40 years and has amassed more than 4,000 performances.
Its works have been performed in the main cities in Brazil and in countries such as England, the United States, Canada, Spain, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Germany, Mozambique, South Africa, Chile, Thailand, and Colombia.
Located in São Paulo, the company has already received awards from APCA, Fundação Nacional de Artes (Funarte), the Bandeirante Award, Dance Theater Award, among others.
