Shelter Moacyrves holds a Bazaar on Saturday

Clothes, shoes and accessories (glasses, watches and jewelry) will be the items offered in the bazaar and sales will be made in cash and card.

Donated clothing and new accessories from various brands will be sold at the bazaar organized by Abrigo Moacyr AlvesThis Saturday, August 25th, starting at 9am, in the living area of the shelter's headquarters, located at Rua Profª Léa Alencar, 1014, Alvorada I (in front of Alvorada's Maternity Center).

The goal of the action is to raise money to expand the physiotherapy room, which currently assists more than 146 disabled people from the community per week, in addition to the children hosted by the shelter. In the physiotherapy sector, children, young people, and adults receive care focused, mainly, on motor rehabilitation.

These services make it possible for patients to recover mobility, when there was no longer any prospect of improvement, because for years they were inert in a bed or in wheelchairs. This has provided countless returns to work activities, daily life activities, social and educational inclusion, besides the growing improvement in self-esteem and consequently in quality of life.
