The exhibition is composed of 252 works by Amazonian artists, from Manaus and the municipalities of Lábrea, Parintins, Atalaia do Norte, Maraã, Itacoatiara, Tefé and Nova Olinda do Norte.
The exhibition "Amazonas Plural has reached its second edition, bringing together photographs and videos by 120 Amazonian artists. The opening of the exhibition took place this Thursday (May 9), at the Cultural Center Usina Chaminé (Av. Lourenço da Silva da Braga, s/nº, Centro), with free admission.
Curated by José Zamiththe group show is composed of 252 works by 120 Amazonian artists, from Manaus and the cities of Lábrea, Parintins, Atalaia do Norte, Maraã, Itacoatiara, Tefé, and Nova Olinda do Norte. The exhibition has a free theme so that each artist can reveal his perspectives.
According to Zamith, the proposal is to present the artists' individual and authorial look. "We leave it open to flow naturally how each one conveys their look and observes everything around them using their own angles, themes, and colors in a singular way that, when put together with all the photographers, becomes plural," says the curator.
