The short film "Overcomingscripted by journalist from Amazonas Ana Célia Costa and directed by actress Suzana Piresis one of the winners of the Arezzo Women's Film Contest, with the theme Female Protagonism.
Recorded by the Dona de Si Institute with support from Arezzo, the short film stars actress Julie Nakayama, who represents the story of the character Mariana, who came to subvert. Mariana is a wheelchair user from Parintins, a woman who goes through all the challenges that any other woman goes through in this macho society. Besides this, the character faces the challenges of showing that being in a wheelchair is not a disease. She has passions, common sorrows, and sexual desires.
The recording of "Superação" lasted one day, in a house in the Santa Tereza neighborhood, in Rio de Janeiro. The difference is that director Suzana Pires made sure that the team was formed by a majority of women. This is the first time this has happened in the audiovisual market.

About the scriptwriter Ana Célia
Graduated in Journalism at the Federal University of Amazonas with specialization in Digital Marketing at IESB. Author of the books "Social Networks - Monitoring Strategies" and "Social Networks - Content Anatomy". She was a reporter in the Amazon telling stories of the riverside communities. Since 2009 she has contributed with content production on social networks for government institutions. For the last 4 years she has been teaching courses and lectures via Escola de Redes Sociais (Social Networking School). Winning scriptwriter representing the North region of the Arezzo Women's Film Contest.
