Born in the Amazon, in the municipality of Envira, the photographer and bird imitator Cleudilon Passarinho I'm going to release the CD "Passarinho" this saturday, 11/24, at 8pm, at the Teatro Amazonas Amazonas TheaterCenter. The tickets for the show, with prices starting at R$ 20, are on sale at the theater's box office or through the website of Alô Ingressos.
The work "Passarinho" was born from a dream of Cleudilon that, in partnership with artists from Amazonas, united his art of imitating birds with poetry and music, resulting in an album with seven tracks, performed independently and with the support of friends and supporters. "This és a ten-year career project. I am very satisfied and happy for this opportunity to present it at the Teatro Amazonas," comments the impersonator. "The public can expect a presentation focused on the forest, the environment, and sustainability. We want to pass on the message of valuing our fauna and flora.
The show will have as special guests the Orquestra de Câmara do Amazonas (OCA)under the conductor Marcelo de Jesus, the Alto Amazonas Group, and the Alto Amazonas Groupthe artists Antônio Pereira, Roberto Shamanti, Bia de Santa Maria e Sândalo Melo.
About the artist
Cleudilon Passarinho, 29, was born in the municipality of Envira, in the interior of Amazonas. At the age of 12 he awoke the talent of imitating the birds of his region, arriving to imitate up to 30 types of species.
He acquired photographic equipment to portray the species that exist in the region and seeks to confirm with biologists and ornithologists the species and the popular name.
He has been invited to various events, projects and TV shows such as Avistar Brasil, a national and international event for birdwatchers; "Domingão do Faustão" (Rede Globo), "Programa Legendá He also participated in a documentary with the actress Cristiane Torlonni and in a workshop in the city of Curuࢷá, in the countryside of Bahia, where he had the opportunity to become a photographer and birdwatcher.
