The main forró bands from Amazonas got together to celebrate the rhythm that moves the capital of Amazonas. In a meeting that will take place on November 14, Thursday (eve of holiday), from 20h, in the Arena da Amazônia's Podium, "The 10+ of forró" will record a homonymous DVD, which will have space for the various aspects of the genre: pé de serra, xote, xaxado and the most recent forrónejo, forrófunk.
The bands that will participate in the DVD are Forró Na Pegada, Forró Festança, Meu Xodó, Ideal, Rabo de Vaca, 100%, Xiado da Xinela, Feras do Forró, Xote com Pimenta, and Ostentação. Each one will have three songs on the DVD, one of them with a guest appearance.
According to DJ Evandro Jr., the creator of the event, the initiative shows the strength of forró.
"For more than 20 years, forró has been moving the night of Manaus with parties from Monday to Monday. This event will show the strength that our forró has, gathering all these artists in this icon of the city that is the Arena da Amazônia. Besides the bands involved, who will play exclusively in the event, we will also have several artists making special participation, and who will also perform only in the Arena that day," he says, highlighting, still, the structure that is being assembled for the recording. "We will have a mega-structure equal to the national shows to receive the artists of the house, a huge stage, sound and light first, with lots of technology," he says.
The shows
Forró na Pegada will open the party, at 8pm, and will have the singer Edy Pimenta as a guest; next, Forró Festança will take the stage and will count with the participation of Felipe Sales. The third band of the night, Meu Xodó will receive Jardel Santos in one of the songs; Ideal invited Dinho Melo.
At the turn of the night, Rabo de Vaca will present itself with the special participation of Leninha Salvador; after that, 100% will enter with Erli Di Respeito. Then, Xiado da Xinela will present its show that will feature Uendel Pinheiro.
The last three attractions to perform will be Feras do Forró, with the participation of the duo João Victor and Rodrigo; Xote com Pimenta, who will share a song with Georg Japa; and Ostentação, with Daniel Trindade as a guest.
Spaces
The event will have three areas: dance floor, VIP area with open bar, and FM O Dia box. The dance floor will have free entrance from 7pm until 10pm. After that time, a R$10 ticket will be charged.
For those who want to be close to the stage, there is the VIP area, which besides being closer to the attractions, will have an open bar (beer, caipirinha, water and soda) from 10 pm until 4 am, and exclusive access. The ticket for the VIP area is R$ 60.
For those who prefer to enjoy the party from a box, the best option is the "FM O Dia Box", also with exclusive entrance, a higher floor, special decoration, and the presence of the radio's announcers and the event's artists. The ticket for this space is R$ 20.
