Table tennis athletes represent Manaus in Super Brazil Cup

The athletes will compete in the competition in the capital of Mato Grosso, which takes place between September 26 and 29.

The Amazonians Orlando França, 17, e Alexandre AlfonAlfon, 38, will seek gold for the Amazon at the Cuiabá stage of the Brazil Super Cup of Table Tennis. The athletes have the support of the Manaus City Hall to compete in the competition that takes place between 26 and 29/9, in the capital of Mato Grosso do Sul.

Table tennis highlights, Orlando and Alexandre are among the top placed in their categories, youth/youth and class 10, respectively. Both are preparing themselves and are confident in winning medals for the state.

Competing for two years, Orlando has already been champion of the City of Manaus Cup and is now going in search of the Super Cup title. "First, I would like to thank God for this opportunity. I train every day, two hours a day along with the physical preparation. The expectation is very good, I hope to bring medals and be champion in the categories I will participate", he said.

Paratleta, Alexandre is champion of the state of Amazonas and of Para-Pan in his seven-year trajectory in the sport, he tells us how is his preparation. "I have been training since the beginning of the year and I am among the top three in this competition. I am preparing well to represent the Amazon and thank the Manaus City Hall for this support ", said.
