In commemorationção of the 350th anniversary of the city, celebrated on October 24, the Boi Manaus 2019 reaches another edição in one of the main cartões-postals of the capital, the Ponta Negra Beach Tourist ComplexWest Zone, which will host the event for the fifth consecutive year.
The traditional party, which will take place on October 23 and 24, will feature more than 30 boi-bumbá artists taking turns in four trios, totaling 20 hours of fun, adding up the two days of the party. In its 22ªedição, the Boi Manaus will receiveá names like David Assayag, Sebastião Júnior, Israel Paulain, Arlindo Júnior, Márcia Siqueira, Klinger Araújoamong others. On both days, the party will start at 4 pm.
The opening of the first day of the event will be done by the group Kuarup, along with a new artist, which will be defined from the selection process. Also on the 23rd, the great show of the bois-bumbás from Manaus, Corre Campo, Garanhão and Brilhante will take place. Já on the second day, the party beginá with Márcia Siqueira and Mara Lima in command of the trio elétrico.

The public that goes to Ponta Negra can also check out the exhibition "Manaus 350 yearsthat counts on the research and curatorship of the renowned Amazonian historian Otoni Mesquita and aims to tell the story of the city of Manaus, throughout its 350 years of development, through the use of historical images and old postcards, presenting, both local population and tourists, part of the rich and diverse history of the city of Manaus, its people, customs, beauties and monuments from approximately 80 historical images.
