Casa das Artes holds the 2nd edition of Bloco da Tombação

The idea of the event, totally starring women is to further thicken the women's struggle remembrance month.

Idealized and produced by Amazonian DJ and producer Naty Veiga, a Miga, Sua Lôca Festival of Culture and Diversity, presents the Bloco da Tombação 2019. The event, which is free of charge, will take place on March 30 and 31 at Casa das Artesin Largo de São Sebastião and proposes music, debates and other interferences. The idea of the event, which is totally performed by women, is also to enhance the month of remembrance of women's struggle.

On Saturday, the 30th, the program starts at 3pm, with DJ Naty Veiga's set, especially prepared for the event, highlighting feminist music, made by women from the Brazilian music scene. And from 5pm to 7pm the rounds of conversation with the themes, 'Feminicide and Violence against women: The role of the protection network', mediated by Marklize Santos and Erika Carmo; 'Women's Health - Obstetric Violence Manaus', mediated by Humaniza Coletivo Feminista; 'Mental Health of Black Lesbian Women', mediated by Dandara Lorena, from the group Encrespa Geral - Manaus; and 'Mental Health of Black Bisexual Women', mediated by Raescla Ribeiro, from Coletiva Banzeiro Feminista'. DJ Naty Veiga will also close Saturday with her feminist set.

On Sunday, women's music will set the tone of the event, with the participation of singer Elisa Maiawho presents her new set voice¬ebook, proposing a more intense and intimate experience with songs that will be part of her next album; MC MC Anna Suavwho, despite being from Amazonas, is active in the music scene of Pará, where she currently resides; singer Karen Francis Karen Francisthe young revelation of Amazonian music, who will perform songs from his EP Acontecer (It Happens); and the singer Bel MartineBel Martine, a strong performer in the Amazon music night scene. There will also be DJ Naty Veiga's sets, this time playing a repertoire of AfroHouse and Black Music, and DJ Carolina Blois, playing Brasilidades, in her exclusive vinyl set.

The event will also feature A Uni Manas, a project whose main goal is to collect disposable sanitary pads for inmates, since many times the state doesn't provide enough. The Bloco da Tombação will receive donations of pads on both days.

The Bloco da Tombação 2019 is a realization of Miga, Sua Lôca Festival de Cultura e Diversidade, with support from Humaniza Coletivo Feminista, Encrespa Manaus, Coletiva Banzeiro Feminista, Coletivo Difusão, Secretary of Culture of Amazonas - SEC-AM, 8M Manaus and Una LGBT Amazonas.
