Take advantage of Saturday to have lunch at the traditional feijoada of the Vhida House and contribute to the institution seems like an excellent opportunity to associate fun with giving to others. Those who attend the Sesi Worker's Clubon September 28th, starting at noon, you can participate in the "Feijoada Beneficente da Casa Vhida - ser solidário é uma delícia" (Charity Feijoada for the Vhida House - being solidary is a delight).
Like every year, the event brings together volunteers, companies, and partners that transform the atmosphere of the environment into a moment of celebration and donation of love. The volunteers and employees of Casa Vhida welcome the guests, serve the feijoada, and provide all the support.
According to the communication and marketing director of Casa Vhida, Iêda Carvalho, the event represents a great source of resources for the maintenance of the work done by the institution. "The feijoada is one of the most important events that Casa Vhida holds every year. There are more than 30 people involved - among companies, partners, and volunteers - who help plan and make this special day happen," she says.
Besides enjoying the feijoada in a large, air-conditioned space, the guests will have a lively afternoon with lots of music and raffles. Among the attractions already confirmed are: DJ Batmangroup Vai Garotão, Fatima Silva, Angelo Marcio e Eraldo Bandeira. "Everything is being prepared with great care. It will be a lively Saturday afternoon, with a delicious feijoada, good music and filled with love! Everyone is invited to be part of this moment with us and bring joy to the children and teenagers of Casa Vhida!", says Iêda.
The ticket costs R$50 and can be bought in advance at the institution's headquarters, located at Pedro Alvares Cabral Street, 395, Dom Pedro. If you can't get the ticket in advance, you can buy it on the day of the event, at Sesi.
About Casa Vhida
The Association of Support to Children with HIV - Casa Vhida - is a non-profit organization that assists - in the areas of social assistance and health - babies, children and adolescents living with HIV/AIDS in the state of Amazonas.
Currently, it provides more than 1,600 services, in two fronts of actions: with the so-called 'exposed babies', born from HIV-positive mothers, supplying enriched dairy products and following the baby until it is 18 or 24 months old; and in the support to children and teenagers who are already living with the virus. The institution has a technical team composed of social assistance, psychology, medicine, dentistry, nutrition, and caregivers, besides a structure that provides safety, care, and socialization.
