This Saturday (11/30), from 8am to 4pm, the Associaçãoção de Apoio à Criança com HIV (Casa Vhida) will hold another edition of its Bazaar Solidary. The event é open to the public and will be held at the headquarters of the entity, located at Rua Pedro Álvares Cabral, nº 395, in the neighborhood Dom Pedro, in the central-western zone of Manaus.
Items such as móveis, household appliances, building materialção, toys, jewelry, shoes, bags and women's, men's and children's clothes will be available with special prices.
According to the coordinator of Casa Vhida, Hérica Amorim, the Solidary Bazaar is one of the most important events of the entity, which survives through the support of volunteers and employees who seek, through social events and partnerships with companies, get resources for the maintenance of care.
Today, more than 1600 children and teenagers are benefited by the work developed by Casa Vhida, from exposed babies born to mothers who are HIV positive, to children and teenagers who are already living with HIV; In addition to children and adolescents who already have HIV, there are also children and adolescents who have HIV and, because they live in situations of social vulnerability, are now living in the house to receive proper treatment.
All of them receive psychological and pediatric support, as well as special care provided by a multidisciplinary team of nurses, social workers, nutritionists, and dentists.
