O Cultural Center of the Amazon Peoples (CCPA) holds, this Friday (05/31), the first edition of the project "Fridays at the Dance" projectwith attractions for the elderly and a show by the singer Lucilene Castro. The event is a partnership between the State Secretariat of Culture (SEC) and the Better Age Movement of Amazonas. The program starts at 4 pm and goes on until 8 pm, with free entrance and free rating.
The group Rosas Dança de Salão will be responsible for presenting the event and helping the public who doesn't practice the dance. Following the program DJ Kalil will play various rhythms, and the singer Kalid Amud will command the party with a lot of bolero.
The special musical attraction of the night is Lucilene Castro. The singer will go on stage at 7pm to finish the program, playing the best of Brazilian popular music.
The program also includes a parade of the candidates who are running to be Miss Amazonas at the Best Age. The event will have a gourmet room and a playground for the kids.
According to Kennedy Campos, the event's organizer, this is the pilot edition of the project that, initially, will take place once a month. "It will be a moment of meeting and socializing, for people to socialize and get to know each other for other bigger projects that we will develop working with this age group," he said.
