The courses will be taught between October and November this year.
O Federal University of Amazonas Arts Center (CAUA), throughthrough cooperation between public institutions, is offering 200 places in six free training courses: Lighting, Sound and Roadie, Sentimental Roadmap of Manaus, Managing Cultural Spaces and Cartoon Design. Registration began on Tuesday (2) and runs until Friday (6) on the site of CAUA WEBSITE.
All courses are for people over 18 - with the exception of Cartoon Design - and aim to train professionals to work in the city's cultural circuit. The courses will be given between October and November of this year, by professionals who are recognized in the city's cultural circuit and who have experience in acting. In all, 40 places are available per course, 20 of which will be filled by professionals from partner institutions and 20 open to the external public.
Registration will take place from Monday (8) until the following Friday (10) directly at Caua's headquarters, on Rua Monsenhor Coutinho, 724, Centro, from 8am to 12pm and from 1pm to 4pm. The documents required are a 3×4 size photo, copies of RG, CPF and proof of residence.
The courses
The course on Managing Cultural Spaces, with 18h of workload, aims to train people who work in the cultural field or wish to work in the management and administration of spaces, involving studies about the concepts of culture, public and market for the implementation of projects and actions related to the practice of management of Theaters and Cultural Centers.
The course Roteiro Sentimental de Manaus is aimed at those who wish to get to know and act as cultural agents, creating literary itineraries through the city of Manaus, in order to promote a cultural, sensorial, and affective immersion in the Amazonian culture. The course's public are professionals and students of tourism, arts, and related areas. The course also has a duration of 18h.
The 12-hour cartoon drawing course aims to provide the student with drawing concepts and techniques to create youthful characters and themes for application in comics and cartoons, developing the participant's own language. Participants must be at least 12 years old.
The more technical courses are aimed at basic-level training for professionals interested in working in events. There are vacancies for Lighting, Sound and Roadie, each lasting 9 hours, and those interested can enroll in all three, since they will be offered sequentially.
