The Riot: Street Interventions Circuit intensifies programming starting this week in Manaus.

Dance, urban intervention and social reflection: taking all this to different areas of Manaus is the goal of Riot: Interventions in the Street Circuit. This week, a varied program with local and national attractions can be checked out for free by the public. The groups Urban Fragment (SP) and artist Leonardo Scantbelruy (AM) are part of the activities.
Hip Hop from São Paulo
On Wednesday (20), the group from São Paulo Urban Fragment presents the dance performance Encruzilhada at Bola do produtor, in the São José neighborhood, at 7pm. In it they address issues such as hip hop culture, peripheral cultural expressions and proposals for a new body and political consciousness. The idea is to bring a mixture between Brazilian popular dances and hip hop.
On the next day (21st), the workshop Peripheral Aesthetics in Dance is held by Douglas Iesus and Tiago Silva, members of the group. The focus is on composition and improvisation practices, aimed at the general public. The activity takes place at the School of Arts and Tourism (Esat / UEA), located at Av. Leonardo Malcher, 1728, Praça 14 neighborhood. On Friday (22), the group performs a rerun of the presentation of Encruzilhada in the Youth Square, also in São José.

Also on Friday (22) the performance Recolonby dancer and art educator Leonardo Scantbelruy, at 3pm, at Terminal 5, in São José neighborhood. The artistic intervention deals with the impacts of hydroelectric dams on the Madeira River basin, in Rondônia, and gets a replay on Sunday (24), at 4pm, at the Ponta Negra pedestrian mall.
Leonardo also teaches the workshop Consciousness and Body Expressionon Saturday (23rd), at 2pm. The activity, open to the public and with a limit of 15 participants, takes place at Suanam Espaço Cultural, located at Rua Ferreira Pena, 139, Centro.
