"Amazon Concert" gathers great local artists and Amazonas Band

The repertoire will include regional songs and also Bossa Nova classics with differentiated arrangements.

Next Tuesday (11/19), at 8pm, big names in Amazonian music will take the stage at the Amazonas Theateraccompanied by the Amazonas Bandfor a presentation with a repertoire of local, national and international compositions. Tickets for the "Amazonian Concert are on sale at the theater box office and at the website Digital Box Office.

Lucilene Castro, Márcia Siqueira, Ellen Mendonça, Ketlen Nascimento, Dudu Brasil, Elias Moreira, and Josenor Rocha will be, together with the Amazonas Band - conducted by maestro Rui Carvalho -, the stars of the evening, which will also feature Carol Martins.

The repertoire includes regional songs, such as "Fica Comigo" (one of the great hits of Grupo Carrapicho) and "O Amor Está no Ar", by Chico da Silva, but also Bossa Nova classics with different arrangements, such as "Samba de Uma Nota Só" and "Dindi".

Rui Carvalho also says that "Gostoso Veneno", "Someone Told Me", and "Madalena" will have special versions for the "Amazon Concert", as well as "All I Ask Of You", from the soundtrack of the movie "The Phantom of the Opera", and "Feeling Good", by Michael Bublé.

Singer Lucilene Castro points out that this is the group's third presentation with the Amazonas Band and that the audience has approved the joint. "We mix the erudite with the popular and it has been a success", she says.

Tickets cost R$ 40 (2nd and 3rd floor) R$ 50 (audience, frieze, and 1st floor). The values refer to full price.
