Unite the toadas that have been most successful in the Parintins Festival in a 'mashup' with great rock classics. This is the proposal of the show "Bumba meu Rockwhich will be performed by David Assayag, Marcia Siqueira e Essence BandThis Friday (06/14) and Saturday (06/15), at 20h, the Amazonas Theater. The event is free.
The bet is to gather the audiences of Caprichoso and Garantido and present the most known toadas of the two bumbás in new ways. "Parintins Pro Mundo Ver", "O Ritmo é de Boi", "Festa da Raça" and "Pesadelo dos Navegantes" are some of the toadas that will be mixed with rock classics like "The Wall" and "High to Hell". The musical direction will be given by the maestro Paulo Marinho.
According to David Assayag, this partnership started in the first edition of the program "Paneiro", from Rede Amazônica, where the proposal was to mix genres and artists from the Amazon region and the first program presented the partnership of the three artists.

This weekend we will show how it turned out, and I am sure that the public will like it", he affirms.
Márcia Siqueira guarantees that the public will be surprised with the result. "It will be very interesting. The expectation that we have for this show is the best possible. It is gratifying to share the stage with the voice of the Amazon, David Assayag, and the boys from Essence. And it is a joy to have the opportunity to present this project in the iconic space of our state, which is the Teatro Amazonas.
The event includes exclusive costumes, thematic scenography, choreography, stage management, and projections. The artists will perform the same repertoire over two days.
