Mother's Day will have a special concert in the programming of the Amazon Opera Festival

The presentation of the "Mother's Day Concert" will be at the Teatro da Instalação, with free admission.

To celebrate the Mother's Day, o 22nd Amazon Opera Festival (FAO) will present a special program, this Sunday (12/5). It will be the "Mother's Day Concertwith the Amazonas Guitar Orchestra (Ovam) and the Children's Choir of the Claudio Santoro High School of Arts and Crafts. The presentation will be at Teatro da Instalaçãoin the Center, at 11am, with free admission.

Named "Amor Popular Brasileiro: Temas de amor na MPB" (Popular Brazilian Love: Themes of Love in Brazilian Popular Music), the concert, which will mark the debut of the Liceu Liceu do Artes e Ofícios' Children's Choir at FAO, will present a repertoire that promises to thrill mothers and all those who attend the event.

Among the songs selected are "À primeira Vista" (Chico César), "Apenas uma mais de amor" (Lulu Santos), "Perigo" (Zizi Possi), "Minha namorada" (Vinicius de Moraes), "Amor, I love you" (Carlinhos Brown and Marisa Monte), "Por enquanto" (Renato Russo), "Fico assim sem você" (Agnaldo Batista, Marcos Cabral and Samile Figueiredo), "Se todos fossem iguais a você" (Vinicius de Moraes and Tom Jobim), "Sem pecado e sem juízo" (Bernadeth Cidade and Pedro Gomes), "Atrás da porta" (Chico Buarque and Francis Hime) and "Do seu lado" (Nando Reis).
