The traditional June festivities reach twelve neighborhoods of Manaus this weekend. The schedule of Folk Festivals in the neighborhoods, which has the support of the Manaus City Hall, runs from Friday to Sunday, in different areas of the city. All events have free admission.
This weekend, six neighborhoods will continue their events: the 15th Zumbi dos Palmares Folkloric Festival 3Folkloric Festival, in the East Zone, Folkloric Festival of Parque Amazonensein the Center-South zone, 23rd Peace Folkloric Festivalin the West zone, and, in the North zone, the Folkloric Festival of Canaranas, 25th Folkloric Festival of the Amazonino Mendes I neighborhood e Folkloric Festival of the Conjunto Renato Souza Pinto 1.
Another six festivals will begin this Friday, 21/6, and will continue until the 23/6, in the North, South, East and West zones. Among them is the 32nd Folkloric Festival of Vila da Pratathat will take place for three consecutive weekends, at Rua Voluntários da Pátria.
In Cachoeirinha, South zone, the Arraial dos Amigos, at Av. Marquês da Silveira (between streets J Carlos Antony and Rua Parintins) will take place from 5pm on. Still in the region, Praça 14 will host the 7th Arraial of the Communityon Codajás Street (formerly Nhamundá Street).
Will also be held Arraial de São João of the Sagrada Família Communityin the neighborhood Santo Antônio; the Arraial do Mazonin Vale do Sinai; and the 14th Tancredo Neves Folkloric Festival.
