Classics
The repertoire consists of excerpts from the works "Corsair" - based on Lord Byron's poem, with music by Adolphe Adam and choreography by Marius Petipa, - "Nutcracker" e "Swan Lakeboth by Tchaikovsky. The latter, it is worth noting, was written in 1876 and is the most popular of all ballets. The dance tells the story of a young man who falls in love with a queen, transformed into a swan by an evil sorcerer, until she is rescued by a man who swears eternal love to her. The young man finally destroys the spell and the two live happily together. In 1894, a year after Tchaikovsky's death, the work was choreographed.
