The season of the show "Bravas Cows at Ateliê 23 (Rua Tapajós, 166, Centro) ends this weekend, with performances at 8pm on Friday (30/8) and Saturday (31/8). The story brings elements of relationships and metaphors that propose a subjective reading to the spectator about not accepting what is imposed.
In five weeks, the director and actor Taciano Soares says that the audience's receptivity was interesting due to the series of provocations made during the show.
"The season was very good, we were happy with people's reactions, because the show is very subjective, it is not easy to read, and we know that this is always a risk, but we believe in this theater that sometimes is not about understanding, sometimes is about feeling," comments the artist. "Very emotional people came to talk to us and, more than congratulating, they thanked us for the experience. We heard a few times from people that, days after the performance, they were still digesting it, given the volume of provocations that the show makes.
The play takes place in three territories: that of the mother, of affection, and that of the artist, which are performed by the actors Ítalo Rui, Diego Bauer, Jôce Mendes, and Julia Kahane, in addition to Taciano, who directs and dramaturges with Jean Palladino. The technical sheet also includes direction assistance from Isabela Catão, costumes by Eric Lima, responsible for lettering and graphic design, and Laury Gitana, who is in charge of light and set design with Wilas Rodrigues, sound operator; lighting by Daniel Braz and Priscilla Lima, soundtrack by Number Teddie and collaboration of Clara Monteiro, stamps by Turenko Beça, costume making by Helena Oliveira, body provocation by Viviane Palandi and stage by Paulo Tiago.
Tickets will be available at the box office for R$ 30 (full price) and R$ 15 (half price for artists, students, seniors, and people with special needs).

Ateliê 23's first premiere in 2019, "Vacas Bravas" should return in December for a new season. According to Taciano, the space will play other works by the company between the months of September and October.
