Armed Forces' celebration of Fatherland Week begins

The public will be able to see up close the equipment, accessories and projects executed by the Navy, Air Force and Army.

This weekend, September 1st and 2nd, the Shopping Ponta Negra hosts an exhibition that marks the beginning of the celebrations of the Homeland Week. The public can see up close the equipment, accessories and projects executed by the Navy, Aeronautics e Army. The event takes place in the events plaza of the shopping center, located on the second floor (L1) and admission is free.

Among the highlights that the Navy will bring to the event is a musical presentation by the Marine Band from the 9th Naval District Command (Com9ºDN). They will perform a show with a repertoire full of hits from the Brazilian Popular Music (MBP), on Saturday (1st), at 7pm, at the food court, located on the third floor (L3) of the shopping center.

The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) will present operational and rescue equipment and jungle survival kits. In this space, the public will be introduced to the work of the Air Squadrons and Infantry Organizations, as well as how to join the Air Force. The FAB band will also perform on Saturday, at 7pm, in the mall's food court.

At the Army's exhibition, visitors to the Shopping Ponta Negra Mall will find a variety of equipment used during missions in the Amazon, and will also obtain information about military service.
