A Ponta Negra's Free Zone will have, this Wednesday (27), a special Carnival edition, with a free class on Dance Mix e FitDance. The public will be able to exercise to the sound of carnival hits that were successful in the 90s and 2000s. In addition, there will also be functional class and running. The action is part of the Fórmula Outdoor project, which takes place from 7pm to 9pm.

In the dance class, instructor Andrew Rogger says that the public will remember some choreographies that were successful in past carnivals, from bands like É o tchan, Araketu, Harmonia do Samba, and Ivete Sangalo. "The participants can wear costumes and accessories and exercise in a fun and healthy way," he said.

The functional class is held on the beach area and the dance class on the Ponta Negra sidewalk, near the food court. The meeting point of the running group is also on the boardwalk.

Formula Outdoor classes have been held for three years, always on the last Wednesday of each month. The project and the instructors are from Fórmula Academia, which operates at the Ponta Negra Shopping Mall. The goal is to encourage the population to practice physical exercises and seek a better quality of life.
