A Feira do Paço 2019 has its first edition of the year next Sunday, 14/7, from 16h, with free admission, at Marco Zero de Manaus, at Dom Pedro II Square, Historical Center of the city (in front of the Museum of the City of Manaus). The event is held by the Amazon Institute, with the support of the Manaus City Hall, through the Municipal Foundation of Culture, Tourism, and Events (Manauscult).
The Fair will have the theme "arraial", and presents a variety of creative products.and presents a variety of creative products, including delicacies from the gastronomy area, from Brazilian and regional to international cuisine and vegan and vegetarian options, besides, of course, the typical "arraial" foods, handcrafted sweets, and much more.
During the Fair, several actions will take place, such as the Creative Workshop, the "Chef of Improvisation", with a duel of chefs, "Touring in the Paço", open Muay Thay training, and "Playing in the Paço", a place of fun for the kids.
On stage, there will also be carimbó and quadrilha presentations by the students of the Claudio Santoro Arts and Crafts High School, as well as ciranda, a humor show, and lots of music, with DJ Falcão and the group Xoteado and Joãozinho do Arcodeon.
The Feira do Paço is an activity integrated to the project "Caminhos do Frei", which aims to revitalize the Marco Zero of Manaus, held by the Amazon Institute, which rescues citizenship, valuing the historical and cultural heritage of Amazonas.
