Festivals integrate the calendar of Folkloric Festivals in the neighborhoods

The circuit of Folk Festivals in the Neighborhoods began on June 28 and will continue until September 1. All events have free admission.

Continuing the circuit of Folkloric Festivals in the Neighborhoodsseven festivals will be held this weekend, from August 9 to 11, from the north to the south of the city. All events have free admission.

From Friday, 9th, until Sunday, 11th, at the Boas Novas soccer field, on 22nd street, there will be the 12th Boas Novas Folkloric FestivalFolkloric Festival of Boas Novas, starting at 6pm. Also in the North Zone, from 7pm, the 6th Folkloric Festival of the Santa Etelvina Park Community commands the party at rua Luís Otávio, also from 9 to 11/8.

In the West Zone, in Parque São Pedro, Tarumã neighborhood, at 6pm, the Folkloric Festival of the São Pedro Church - Missionary Area Tarumã, on São João street.

In the East, the fun shakes the Community João Paulo, in Jorge Teixeira neighborhood, with the 5th Folkloric Festival Força do Bemthat occupies the soccer field of the Owl, on the street Sapucaia, always from 19h. In the neighborhood Armando Mendes, will open the 31st Folkloric Festival of the Armando Mendes neighborhoodon J street, throughout the weekend, at the same time.

In the South Zone, the 4th Santa Etelvina Street Festival occupies the street of the same name in Betânia, always from 7 pm, from Friday, 9, until Sunday, 11.

Sambódromo

This weekend also happens the Gonzagão Festival with various presentations of folkloric groups. The event starts this weekend, from the 9th to the 11th, and continues next weekend, from the 15th to the 17th, starting at 7pm, at the Sambadrome. Admission is free.
