Tradicional, Flor Matizada and Guerreiros Mura perform, this weekend, the 23rd Ciranda Festival of Manacapuru. The event begins this Friday (August 30) and runs until Sunday (September 1), at the Ingá Ingá Park. Admission is free.
The Ciranda Traditional opens the festival this year with the theme "Alado" (Winged), which proposes to share the dream of flying with the public. On Saturday, it is the turn of the four-time champion Flor Matizada with the theme "Hecatombe", a fable that will show a true cultural explosion and beauty of the Amazon singularities. Closing the festival, on Sunday, the ciranda Mura Warriors will perform with the theme "Tabaturuna", bringing legends, tales and myths that surround the Mura Indian tribe, besides spiritualism, rituals and the strength of the tribe.
The presentations last between 2h and 2h30, and the sum of the scores given to each of these items determines the winner of the year. The individual items competing for scores are: Cirandada Singer, Presenter, Color Carrier, Cirandeira Bela and Cirandeira Princess. The collective items are: Cordão de Cirandeiros, Cordão de Entrada, Tocada or Tocata da Ciranda, Allegories, Costumes of Highlights, Cirandada (lyrics and music), General Harmony, Creativity and Originality and the Theme and Development.
