O Degusta Festival starts on Wednesday (01), with a menu of special dishes and with shows by bands #3 e Aces of Pagode. The program, organized by Amazonas Shopping in honor of Mother's Daywill feature a tasting menu from three renowned restaurants in the city - Torino Pasta, Tio Armenio, and Toreador.
On the same day, the shopping center will start the Mother's Day campaign, which also includes a raffle for 50 Tramontina Continental Stainless Steel 101-piece cutlery sets. The Degusta Festival takes place until Mother's Day, May 12, at the Expansion Events Plaza, from Monday to Friday, starting at 5pm, Saturday at 4pm, and Sunday at 3pm. Admission is free.
The Festival will open to the sound of samba, with the band #3, which will perform at 6pm. Then, at 8pm, the show is with the group Aces do Pagode. Their repertoire will include hits by Jorge Aragão, Arlindo Cruz and Alcione.
On Thursday (02), the Degusta Festival will feature the singers Elias Moreiraat 6 pm, and David Assayagat 20h. On Friday (03), the schedule will feature shows of bands Goodfelas, at 5 pm, Rockaholics, at 18h and Higtower, at 20h.
On Saturday (04), the singer Nay opens the programming, at 16h. Then, at 18h, it's time for the band Blues Box to take the stage. Ending the night, there will be a show of the band Goodfelas, at 8 pm. Sunday (05), at 3 pm, there will be a show by the singer Jorjão. Ases do Pagode will perform, starting at 5pm, and Uendel Pinheiro, at 7pm.
Alameda Gourmet
The restaurants Torino Massas, Tio Armenio and Toreador, which are participating in the Festival Degusta, will be part of the Alameda Gourmet, soon to be inaugurated in the shopping center. During the Festival, they will present some of the dishes from the menu.
At Torino Pasta, for example, the public will be able to taste spaghetti and penne with arrabiata, bolognese and torino sauces. The Toreador, which specializes in special cuts of meat, will have chorizo nelore steak, pork ribs with barbecue sauce, picanha hamburger, and picanha no bafo. Tio Armenio will present its traditional pies and codfish cakes, among other dishes.
