Still in the mood for June parties, the Fórmula Academia e Cross Fit Ponta Negra are promoting their traditional festivities on July 20, open to the public. The event will take place at Crossfit Ponta Negra (at Shopping Ponta Negra), on Coronel Teixeira Avenue, West Side, starting at 5pm, with lots of music, quadrilha (square dance) to liven up the party, and a charity bingo. Admission is free.
The Arraial da Fórmula and Crossfit Ponta Negra has been held since last year, following the wave of the "Julinas" parties. Dozens of tents, food bikes and food carts will be set up there, with typical food from gastronomic spaces such as Tacacaria Vieiralves, George Kombarão, Kerr Mingau, and Magnatas cheff.
The event will also have attractions for the children, such as balloons and a children's playground, as well as a charity bingo to move the night. All the proceeds from the bingo will be donated to the Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais (APAE). The music will be provided by a forró pé-de-serra band and a DJ.
The party will be presented by Amazonian comedian Márcio Bragathat will animate the party during the whole night. Another novelty is the presence of the alternative quadrilha "New Shake na Roça".. The group of dancers will perform at the party bringing the June rhythm to the Crossfit Ponta Negra space.
