The show "We, Medea will be presented by Experimental Theater Group of the Claudio Santoro High School of Arts and Craftsthis Friday (08/23) and Saturday (08/24), at 7pm, at the Installation Theater. The event has free entrance and free rating.
According to the coordinator of the High School Theater Center, Tiago Oliveira, the play shows Medea in three times in history: in the mythical field, in the medieval period, and in a contemporary phase.
"It is a new interpretation by Zemaria Pinto that shows a strong, empowered, and decisive character, even though she is always in conflict with her husband, Jason, by whom she is abandoned. She shows her potential, her strength in the family field and in the social perspective. It is a show that brings the message of the importance of taking attitudes from external interferences", she observes.
Directed by Ednelza Sahdo and produced by Elias Monteiro, "Nós, Medea" features in its cast the high school students Claudia Gonçalves Barbosa, Dezidério Patrício Pereira Correa, Elias Gabriel de Souza, Guilherme de Souza Peixoto, Melanie da Costa Pinho e Silva, Mayara Cabral da Silva, Neuriza Figueira Pinheiro, Paula Isabel Matos Queiroz, and Paullo Silva dos Santos, besides the guest actors Arison Oliveira de Almeida, Adália Marques, and Helder Jheyson. The group was prepared by Eugênio Lima.
