Registrations are open for the "for the "Acting Workshop for Actors and Actresses that the Theater Center of the Claudio Santoro High School of Arts and Crafts will hold on July 19 and 26, at the Cultural Center for the Peoples of the Amazon (CCPA), on Avenida Silves, 22222, Industrial District, south of Manaus.
Those interested should send, by July 18, an e-mail to [email protected]informing full name, phone number, ID, CPF and address.
The workshop, for people over 13 years old, will be given by instructor Elias Monteiro, with classes in the morning, from 9am to 11am, and in the afternoon, from 2pm to 4pm. The activities aim to promote interpretation techniques for actors and actresses, with emphasis on TV and cinema, and will be held at the Gabriel Gentil Auditorium and at the State Secretariat of Culture's (SEC) EAD studio, located at the CCPA.
According to Tiago Oliveira, coordinator of the High School Theater Center, the content will cover natural interpretation, script creation, and the recording of dramatic scenes.
"One of the SEC's proposals is to leverage the high school's craft arm. And the workshop with a focus on TV and film comes in this direction. We want to enable people to have access to this training, this qualification, because the labor market is big in Manaus. Many production companies record commercials, films, series, and soap operas in the city, a potential market in which the participants will be able to work", Tiago highlights.
