O The Claudio Santoro High School of Arts and Craftsof the State Secretariat of Culture (SEC)the next week, from Monday (08/19) to Friday (08/23), free registration for vacancies and reserve registration in the Orquestra de Repertório Popular (ORP)in the Manaus unit. The audição will be on August 27, at the Centro de Convenções Professor Gilberto Mestrinho - Sambódromo.
The registration can be done between 8am and 5pm, at the Liceu's secretariat, which is located in Block F of the Sambódromo. To participate you need to be between 14 and 38 years old and present your ID and birth certificate.
The candidate needs to have score reading skills and also basic instrument accessories such as mouthpiece, mouthpiece, reed, and strap. For children under 18, enrollment can be made with the presence of a responsible person.
Vacancies
The Popular Repertory Orchestra is opening four vacancies for immediate filling in: guitar (1), trumpet (2) and saxophone (1).
For reserve registration, seven vacancies are being made available: guitar (1), piano (1), keyboard (1), trumpet (2), and saxophone (2).
Auditions
The hearing will be held on August 27, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, in the Recording Room of the Claudio Santoro High School, located in Block C of the Sambódromo.
ORP
The Orquestra de Repertório Popular seeks to train instrumentalists by combining the knowledge acquired in classes to practice a diverse repertoire, providing a healthy socializing, as well as fostering the training of the public and the dissemination of music in its various styles.
The members participate in theoretical and practical classes, with rehearsals on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon. In addition to performing at the Liceu Claudio Santoro Units, the group is also available for the city's cultural spaces.
