Lucilene Castro celebrates 25 years of career at Bar Botequim

With a show of versatility, the artist walks through various musical styles, from boi-bumbá to samba. And in this presentation, Lucilene remembers several passages of her career. It will happen this Saturday (April 27), starting at 10 pm.

Eight records and several musicals in her career, with so many productions Lucilene Castro celebrates in 2019, 25 years dedicated to popular music. To kick things off she has chosen the stage of the Bar Botequim (Rua Barroso, 279, Centro), where she will kick off the celebration, this Saturday (27/4), with a special show, starting at 10 pm. The cover charge will be R$ 15 (per person).

A show of versatility, the artist walks through several musical styles, from boi-bumbá to samba. In this presentation, Lucilene remembers various parts of her career, from the beginning of her first record "Vento Norte", to her most recent one, recorded together with Cinara Nery, Márcia Siqueira, and Fátima Silva, in the project "Elas Cantam Samba".

"I am going to make a retrospective of everything I have sung. I made eight records and I am going to do several musical styles. There will be samba, boi bumbá, and chico da silva, which was a milestone in my career. In these 25 years, I have had the opportunity to go through several rhythms," says the singer.

Trajectory

With eight records, the résumé of this Amazon native is full of achievements. She has won the best interpreter award in several music festivals. Among them, the Parintins Song Festival (1991) and the Amazonas University Music Festival (1993).

She was also considered the best singer at the Festival de toadas da Fundação Villa Lobos, for three consecutive years (1993 to 1995).
She has also acted in several musicals, where she starred in "Boi de Pano", she also took part in the show "Mulheres do Brasil - Cantoras do Amazonas" (Women of Brazil - Singers of the Amazon), of the show "Maria, Maria - Uma Viagem Pelo Universo Feminino" (Maria, Maria - A Trip Through the Feminine Universe), "Caia Na Gandaia - Um "Revival" Dos Anos 70" (Fall Into Fantasy - A "Revival" Of The 70's) and "Paixão, Louca Paixão" (Passion, Mad Passion), among others.

Besides participating in the shows "Mas Podem me Chamar de Chico" and "Elas Cantam Samba".

With her versatility, she has already been invited to represent the Amazon culture in several Brazilian states and was also one of the attractions of the Year of Brazil in France, in Paris.
