Art, creative economy, design, science, technology and social impact are among the themes addressed in the activities of World Creativity Day. In Manaus, the programming will take place on April 21 and 22.
Next Sunday (April 21st), Manaus will host for the first time the biggest creativity event in the country. O World Creativity Day is already in its 4th edition and promises to move more than 50 Brazilian cities, with free activities that aim to promote and contribute to an agenda of innovation and sustainable development.
The initiative for the event comes from entrepreneur and lecturer Lucas Fosterfounder of ProjectHub and creator of the Creative Brazil Awardone of the main references in creative economy in the country. "Our intention since we idealized the event is to democratize and demystify creativity, encouraging people to use their creative potential, seeking new ways to deal with old and new issues, generating resources and solutions," says the entrepreneur.
According to the local leader, Marcos Farias, the event will further strengthen the creative economy in Manaus. "Our capital is multicultural and has everything to do with the proposal of World Creativity Day. Our people are very creative and innovative and we need to recognize our creative potential," commented the producer.
The World Creativity Day, which entered the official calendar of the United Nations in 2017, wins this year an edition also in Portugal, in the cities of Lisbon, Porto and Entroncamento. In Manaus, the activities will take place in several places, such as Vila Hub Café Coworking, Ideas Park, Fab Lab Manaus, Impact Hub Manaus, Livraria Leitura, among others.
Programming
In Manaus, the programming will happen on April 21st and 22nd, with several activities, apppnhosts and influencers. Free workshops will be offered in Independent Literature, with Mário Bentes; Cordel, with Guilherme Cordel; Watercolor, with Hadna Abreu; among others. It is estimated that the event will impact an audience of more than 65 thousand people in Brazil, with lectures, tables and workshops, having creativity with various approaches such as art, innovation, economy, technology, education, business, among others.
