The Manaus City Hall inaugurated this Thursday, 8/8, at night, the first park for pets in the North region of the country, the Parcãolocated on the premises of the Olympic Stadium of Santo Antonioin the West Zone. The space will be managed by the Municipal Secretariat of Youth, Sports and Leisure (Semjel).
The place will be used for interaction between people and animals, such as exhibitions, adoption events, and training services, among others. R$207,217.80 was invested.
The Manaus Parcão will have devices for pets and their owners to have fun together, such as a time tunnel, a walkway, a stake and tire obstacle, a jumping pole and a seesaw.
Rules
There are a few rules for pets and their owners to use the Parcão's structure, such as: the owner must be of legal age; the Parcão's gate must always be kept closed; the owner is obliged to collect the pet's feces; the animals must be wearing collars or ID pads, in addition to being vaccinated, dewormed, and have flea and tick control up to date.
Bitches in heat are not allowed, as are unaccompanied dogs. It is also forbidden to feed or take toys for your pet, as these can stimulate disputes and confrontations. Antisocial dogs should be kept on leashes and those involved in conflicts should be removed from the premises.
