On October 26th, the Amazonas Theater will be the stage for the show Afro Brasiliscommanded by James Rios e Márcia Siqueira. The meeting between the two singers was formatted to celebrate Black Consciousness and starts at 8 pm. Tickets cost R$ 50 (full) and R$ 25 (half), for all seats in the theater, and are already on sale at the box office or through the website Digital Box Office.
The repertoire includes Gerônimo, Margareth Menezes, Caetano Veloso, and Carlinhos Brown, and was all based on axé and the most popular beats in Afro-Brazilian music.
To make a differentiated show, the setlist will also include songs that refer to the fight of black people against prejudice, like "Ilê de Luz", by Daniela Mercury, "Milagres do Povo", by Caetano Veloso, "É d'Oxum", by Gerônimo, and other names like Banda Mameto, Olodum, Timbalada, Rita Ribeiro, Banda Eva, and many more.
