The passion for adventure and the desire to explore new destinations are some of the motivations of the mototourist Jorge Maxwho will embark on a solo motorcycle trip through cities in the North, Midwest and Southeast of the country. The expedition, entitled "Pilgrim on Two Wheelswill begin on July 17, leaving Porto Velho, Rondônia and will cover 750 km, passing through five capitals.
Jorge Max says that this is the first time he will do this route. He will take the motorcycle in Manaus on the ferry to Porto Velho. From there, he will visit cities like Cuiabá/MT, Vilhena/RO, Campo Grande/MS, Foz do Iguaçu/PR, Goiânia/GO, and Penapólis/GO. In all, it will be 17 days of travel.
The adventure will have the support of the distributor ATEM. Along the way, the pastor will stop at the company's gas stations to refuel and rest. Furthermore, through ATEM's social networks, the public will be able to follow the trip through the shepherd's eyes. With cameras installed on his helmet and motorcycle, Jorge Max will record videos of the adventure that will be shared with his followers.
Passionate about motorcycles since his youth, Jorge Max found in the motorcycle tourism segment a hobby for his leisure time. "I live a very intense work routine, helping people in different situations and the motorcycle trip came into my life a few years ago, as an alternative to de-stress and have some time to take care of myself, besides getting to know new places and people", he emphasized.
Jorge Max explains that the adventure begins long before the trip. The whole process of planning and organizing the stopping places and tourist spots to be visited is part of the fun of practicing mototourism. "This is the second time I've done a trip of this type," he said.
According to him, the mototourism segment has been growing every year in the country. There are numerous groups that leave various states in Brazil to explore new places throughout South America. "This type of trip allows a unique experience of self-knowledge," he emphasized.
