Inspired by a Toy Factory, the Christmas decoration of Shopping Ponta Negra will be inaugurated on November 15. With the decoration, the mall kicks off its Christmas program promising many games and fun for the whole family.
On Saturday the 16th, at 6pm, in the festive atmosphere, with the mall all decorated, Santa Claus will arrive. The program will start at 4 pm on floor L2, with storytelling. He, who is the biggest symbol of the date, will be welcomed by the public and will start the season's activities. On November 16, Santa Claus will remain at the Toy Factory until 9pm and from the following day, November 17, until December 18, he will be receiving the mall's frequenters from 2pm to 9pm. The opening hours, when children are keen to take a picture with him, will be extended from December 19, staying from 2pm to 11pm, until December 23.
The Toy Factory will be located in the Events Plaza on level L1. Playing circuits with big toys, revolving tubs, toboggan, seesaw, sensory panel and accessible toys on springs, the latter with easy access for wheelchair users, are the novelties that are mainly waiting for the children.
Besides checking out the mall's internal and external decoration, the public can also participate in the Christmas Solidarity Campaign, donating new and used toys that will be given to a social institution. The presents can be deposited in a 3D toy box that will be available on the L2 floor.
A program of entertainment activities will also be part of the Ponta Negra Christmas. The mall has announced that from November 16, always on Saturdays and Sundays, until December 15, there will be workshops on artistic production, ideal for those who want to learn a manual activity of the season, and storytelling. During this period, at 4pm and 6pm, felt doll workshops will be held. At 4:30pm and 6:30pm, it will be the turn of the Christmas ornament production workshop. Children will have special moments, with storytelling sessions at 5pm and 7pm.
