Dutch-flagged ship brings 1,300 tourists to Manaus

Upon landing in the city, the foreigners received handicrafts and bilingual guides from the agents.

O M/S Prinsendam returned to Manaus for the second time this year, this Sunday morning, 10/3. With more than 1.3 thousand tourists of various nationalities, mostly Americans and Canadians, among passengers and crew, the ship docked at 9am, the Floating Towers, in the Port of Manaus.

Enchanted with the beauty and mix of the Amazon, the American David Johnson spoke about the enthusiasm and anxiety in exploring the city and its local culture. "I am very anxious to get to know the city, the culture, and everything that involves Amazonia. I was very impressed and happy with the warm reception we received here. I am passionate about nature and animals and this experience is being incredible," said David.

The tours during the stay in Manaus include visits to the tourist attractions in the city, jungle hotels, restaurants specializing in Amazonian cuisine, and also boat trips to the meeting of the waters, among others.
