New season of 'Tacacá na Bossa' starts on Wednesday (3)

Shows of rock, samba, MPB, reggae, beiradão and toadas are part of the 14th edition of the project.

O "Tacacá na Bossaproject, which receives local artists for free weekly performances in the Largo de São Sebastiãowill begin its 14th edition, this Wednesday (3/4), from 6:30 pm.

This season, the project features shows of various rhythms such as rock, samba, MPB, reggae, beiradão, and toadas. Access is free.

Opening the program, the singer Thiago Aldoli presents a show with his own songs and also national and international rock classics like The Police, Oasis, Bon Jovi, Lulu Santos, Barão Vermelho, Tears for Fears, Legião Urbana, and Paralamas do Sucesso.

At 7:30pm the rock band "YTSEJAM will present to the public a repertoire composed of songs by Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, Beatles and, ending the presentation, a special with songs by the British band "Queen".

"We hope that the public will feel at ease and enjoy this show. These are well-known songs that marked an era and that say a lot about the characteristics of the band itself," says drummer and YTSEJAM founder Helmut Quacken.

According to Joaquim Melo, project director, the "Tacacá na Bossa" will receive in 2019 a diversity of musical rhythms in order to embrace all audiences.

"We will have rock, samba, MPB, reggae, beiradão, toadas, and several other novelties that will surprise the public. Several local artists will be part of the program so that people can get to know this work better", he says.

Tacacá na Bossa" takes place every Wednesday, starting at 7pm at Largo de São Sebastião, in the Manaus Historical Center. The 14th edition of the project continues until December 11.
