In a visit to the município of Parintintins (396 kilometers from Manaus), the president of the State Tourism Company of Amazonastur (Amazonastur), Roselene Medeiros, announced that the Tupinambarana Island will gainá in the coming years, the Boi Bumbá Museum.
The construction of the museum will take place through an amendment of the Amazon bench in Congress in the amount of R$ 12.5 million.
"The senator Omar Aziz gave us this amendment. Our technical team created the project, but we will hire experts, such as museums, architects, engineers, to be part of this construction. How will be the operation of the museum, the disposition of the pieces, this will have the participation directly from the parintinenses," stressed the president, noting that "the expectation is to implement the cornerstone of the Museum of Oxen in 2020.
Serra da Valéria
It was also announced that another parliamentary amendment worth R$ 1.3 million proposed by Senator Eduardo Braga will contemplate the tourism infrastructure of the Serra da Valéria region, which attracts thousands of cruise tourists annually.
"The Serra da Valéria is a stop for cruise ships sailing through the Amazon. Then, we will carry out ações to improve the infrastructure of the community so that the residents can welcome visitors," said the president.
More amendments
The Amazonastur secured the resource of $ 350 thousand, through an amendment by Senator Plínio Valério, for the implementation of works in the tourist infrastructure of the indigenous communities Tatuyo, Cipia, Tuyuca and Diakuru, in the Sustainable Development Reserves Puranga Conquista and Tupé respectively.
The resources will be executed in agreement with the Ministry of Tourism and are provided for in the Annual Budget Law (LOA 2020).
