Passo a Paço 2019 unveils map with new áareas of the event

A week away from one of the biggest cultural events in the northern region of the country, the Festival Passo a Paço 2019, the Manaus City Hall released the map of the event that will happená in the Historic Center of Manaus, in the period from 5 to 8 September. In this edição, the event occupyáa new áarea within the port of Manaus.

In addition to the two entrances already known to the public, through 7 de Setembro and Governador Vitório (which give direct access to the Dom Pedro II square, represented on the map by the green bullets), the public can have access through a new entrance, located in the parking lot of the privatized port, next to the Asya Fashion store (in front of the bus terminal). This entrance leads to both the Banana stage and the Plataforma Malcher stage.

Exits

One of the main changes in this edition will be regarding the two main stages. The public that is on the Plataforma Malcher stage will have to leave, exclusively, by Visconde de Mauá street (red ball on the map) and if you want to go to the Banana stage you will have to walk through Vivaldo Lima street (TS Club street) and enter again on the port area. If you want to go back to Dom Pedro II, you should take Taqueirinha Street.

The public that goes to the Banana Stage can leave through the port parking lot (same place as the entrance, next to Asya Fashion) and also through a new access, passing by the Port Authority and the cargo terminal, leaving next to the Adolpho Lisboa market, at Manaus Moderna.

Structure

The Step a Paço 2019 will occupy an áarea of 45,400 square meters within the Historic Center of Manaus. In all, there will be 200 chemical toilets, made available at strategic points. In addition, this edition will gain new points of bars, going from six (in 2010), to ten, being six of 60 square meters each and four of 10 square meters.

The two main stages will measure 20 meters X 20 meters, equivalent to the average day of stages of large festivals such as Villa Mix, Lollapalooza, and Rock in Rio. In all, Paço a Passo 2019 will haveámore than 30 hours of programção. More than seven departments of the Manaus City Hall are involved, in addition to military and civilian firefighters, Military Police, Municipal Guard, and private security.

Coreto and Arena Stages

The traditional Coreto stage (green ball on the map), at Praça Dom Pedro II, will have activities during the four days of the event, with Sunday, September 8, being dedicated to the "Passinho" program. Also, exclusively on Sunday, the Arena stage will be open, set up in the parking lot of the City Museum, located on the 7 de Setembro Avenue.

The gastronomic fair of the Passo a Pa chefs will continue on the margins of the square (with the exception of the food trucks that will be on Plataforma Malcher) and the creative fair of the Instituto Amazônia will be next to the City Museum, on Bernardo Ramos Street.

Já the Les Artistes Café Teatro, during all days of the event will be open with the exhibition of puppets Mundo Giramundo. And the Museum of the City of Manaus will be open during the hours of activities of Passo a Paáo.
