The Russian Elina Sarkisian and the Italian Emanuele Vito from Caria will present a piano recital this Thursday (9/26), as part of the program of the 16th edition of the Guaraná SeriesSeries, at the Amazonas Theaterat 20h. The event is free of charge and admission is upon the donation of a toy for the campaign "Donate a toy and win smiles".
The works "Piano Sonata No. 3 in F minor", by Johannes Brahms, will be performed by Emanuele in the first part of the concert, and "Piano Sonata No. 2 in B flat minor", by Sergei Rachmaninoff, by Elina.
"This is our first time in Manaus and we are very much looking forward to performing to the audience here. The repertoire we will be playing is very refined, and we hope people will be able to perceive the details of each piece," declares the Russian pianist.
Elina Sarkisian
Already at the age of 9, Elina performed as a soloist on a concert tour through Holland, Poland, and Germany. Outstanding among the pianists of the new generation, the Russian had Tatiana Zelikman, Arie Vardi, and Boris Petrushansky as masters, and has participated in numerous festivals, such as the Rheingau Music Festival, Clavier Piano Cologne, Malta International Music Festival, and others.
Winner of first prizes at the Sidelnikov International Competition, the Maria Yudina International Piano Competition, and the Safono International Competition, the pianist has even won scholarships from the Russian Federation President's Foundation, Ministry of Culture Foundation, and Krainev Foundation for Gifted Children.
Emanuele Vito de Caria
Emanuele began piano studies at the age of 3. At 7 he made his concert debut at the Petruzelli Theater, and at 12 he was admitted to the Reggio Calabria Conservatory in the class of the famous professor Cinzia Dato and also had lessons with conductor Riccardo Risaliti. In 2012 he had his debut at the Teatro Comunale "F.Cilea" of Reggio Calabria.
He was the first place winner of the 1st L.S.D'Agata International Competition in Acireale, Silizia; the 11th P. Benintende Competition in Villa San Giovanni; the 18th B.Albanese National Competition in Caccamo; the 14th La Vallonea International Competition in Tricase (LE); the 4th E.Sollima National Competition in Enna; the 25th A.
