With more than six hours of pure rock, the Planeta Rock 2019 promises to be a must-see: the bands Raimundos, CPM 22 and the singer Pitty bring their new tours to Manaus on August 24, from 22h, on stage at Studio 5 Convention Centerin the Industrial District, south of the city.
Tickets are available at Alô Ingressos central offices, at Amazonas, Manauara and Sumaúma shopping malls, or at site (with the values of taxes already included). The prices are between R$ 85 (half-price/premium) and R$ 155 (half-price/camarotes with the event's shirt). This year, Ponto Com Eventos brings, among the novelties, the raffle of an iPhone XR among the audience that guarantees its ticket.
The band Raimundos brings to the city its 25th anniversary tour commemorating the eponymous debut album. In this new line-up, original drummer Fred Castro joins Digão (vocals and guitar), Canisso (bass), Marquim (guitar) and Caio (drums). They had not met on stage since 2006. Produced by Carlos Miranda, the album forrocore was released in 1994, with 16 tracks, among them, "Puteiro em João Pessoa", "Eu Quero é Ver o Oco", "A Mais Pedida", "Palhas do Coqueiro", "Be a Bá", and "Selim", which should be part of the repertoire of the upcoming show.
Another important attraction is Pitty, on her new tour, Matrixfrom her recently released album with the same name. In the album, the singer bridges the gap between the essences of her early compositions, her Bahian roots, and a contemporary sound. At the age of 41, the singer already has four other albums in her career, and has also become a presenter on the GNT channel.
Closing the attractions, the band CMP 22 also returns to Manaus, with its line-up composed of Badauí (voice), Phill (guitar), Luciano (guitar), Fernando (bass) and Japinha (drums). The group also had their presence confirmed at Rock in Rio, and recently released the music video "Honrar Teu nome", song released in 2017, on the album "Suor e Sacrifício".
