The project "Synesthetic Sensory Space and Amazonian Elements" project opened registration for 20 theater and performance workshops that will take place between September and December of this year. The project was contemplated by the 2018 Cultural Connections Edict, of the Manaus City Hall. All activities are free.
The activities will always take place from 2pm to 5pm, at the São Vicente de Paulo parish, on Santa Rita street, in the Compensa 3 neighborhood, West zone, on the following dates: September 21, 22, 28, and 29; October 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27; November 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, and 30; and December 1.
The theater workshops will be given by the actress Jôce Mendes on Saturdays, while the performance workshops will be coordinated by actress and dancer Mara Pachecoon Sundays.
"This project arose from an End of Course Work (TCC) and these workshops are a form of experimentation of our research, in order to identify the elements of the Amazon that provoke the phenomenon of synesthesia in our body. It is an immersion, so we suggest that those who enroll should attend at least the two workshops", Jôce explained.
Each workshop will have 30 openings, and teenagers, young people, adults, and the elderly can participate. For those interested, the registration deadline is September 18, through the e-mail [email protected]. For more information, contact (92) 99235-5995 or 99446-8773.
