O Pink October is the moment that intensifies the care for women's health in the prevention of breast and colon cancer. O 2nd Pink Day will be on October 25th, from 18h to 20h, in the auditorium of Seconci Manauslocated at Simon Bolivar Street, 334 - Center.
The program will have a lecture for personal reflection, self-knowledge and female empowerment, with the title "Life - An Eternal Pink Sea. The presentation will be by psychologists and coaches Fabíola Pedraça and Telma Nogueira, also responsible for Mana's Coaching - The Power in Your Hands.
According to the superintendent of Seconci Manaus Alair Paula, this year's program aims to encourage female protagonism. "The civil construction environment is also a space for social mobilization and valorization of life. Campaigns like Pink October and Blue November contribute to the prevention of diseases", she explained.
On Pink Day, after the lecture, the participants will have a coffee break and raffle gifts and a woman's check-up (medical consultation, mammography and preventive exams). The event is aimed at all women who work in civil construction and wives of workers from associated companies. Campaign
During the entire month of October, Seconci Manaus conducts lectures and disseminates materials on women's health in the offices and construction sites of its member companies. Also according to Alair, the number of women in construction has been increasing in recent years. "This program contemplates women, but our goal is to involve workers as well, so that they become multipliers of breast and colon cancer prevention within their own families", he argued.
