Exhibition, lecture, workshop and visitation to the Historical Center of Manaus are part of the free event, promoted by New Acropolis.

On March 22, 23 and 24, the 2019 edition of the Art Week, an event held by the International Organization New Acropolis in several cities around the country, which brings free cultural activities with the objective of promoting the importance of Art for human formation and stimulating the knowledge and appreciation of art.
This year, the theme "Art and Emotions intends to present the contact with the various artistic expressions as a tool to bring the human being closer to the best of himself.
On the 22nd, there will be a photographic exhibition and a philosophical café with the theme "Egypt: Beauty and Meanings starting at 8 pm, at the headquarters of New Acropolis Manaus. On the 23rd, those interested in the philosophical context of the architecture of the Amazonas Theater and its surroundings, will be able to enjoy a guided tour starting at 10am. Only the entrance fee to the historic building will be paid.
In the evening, at 7pm, there will be a commented audition of the work "Swan Lakeby Tchaikovsky, the most watched ballet of all time. The event takes place at the headquarters of the school of philosophy. On Sunday, March 24, at 10 a.m., parents, children, and family will be able to learn more about the philosophy present in cooking, in a dynamic and creative way.
"We want to demonstrate, through the programmed activities, how the contact with art can help us in the search for wisdom, how it is a means to lead us to the natural state of human identity, of plenitude. Through it, we feel the awakening of virtues such as goodness, love, joy of living, compassion, simplicity, honor, glory, will, among others," explains the director of New Acropolis Manaus, Carina Maia.
The International Organization New Acropolis promotes, every year, the Art Week with activities in the more than 50 countries where it is present and in its 80 headquarters in Brazil. The event has been celebrated for nine years in Brazil.
