Shopping Ponta Negra is hosting the unprecedented travelling exhibition "Light - from fire to the atom which, in the form of a labyrinth, allows visitors to learn about various historical manifestations of light in humanity contemplating historical, cultural, and scientific aspects. The show runs until October 18 and is part of the project Sesc Science. Located in the lounge of the third floor (L3), the attraction has free visitation.
"We are very excited to receive one," said the marketing coordinator of Shopping Ponta Negra, Priscila Furtado.
Those who visit the show will have the opportunity to learn tricks that give the illusion of movement and have fun with experiments that create optical illusions. The exhibition includes objects such as an optical bank, which illustrates the behavior of a light beam; a zoetrope, which creates small animations; anamorphosis, which occurs when an image with a deformed appearance is transformed into a recognizable drawing; among other experiments.
