In order to discuss the growth of bilingual schools in Brazil in recent years and the importance of improving the second language for insertion in the labor market, the Union of Private Education Establishments in Amazonas (Sinepe-AM) will hold, on May 9, at 2:00 pm, the lecture "Bilingualism - 21st Century Education: Possibilities for the Brazilian context. The speaker of the meeting will be Rone CostaRone Costa, development manager of Systemic Bilingual - pioneer bilingual education program in Brazil. With over 20 years of experience in education, the specialist has held the position of director responsible in Brazil for Cambridge English Language Assessment, the department of the century-old English University, for almost eight years.
A specialist in international certification, Rone has also worked in educational marketing and was an oral examiner for the University of Cambridge examinations for children and pre-teens (YLE), General English (Main Suite Exams), and Business (BEC and BULATS).

Rone Costa has great knowledge of the Brazilian educational environment, including from the classroom perspective, where he has worked as a teacher, as well as principal and coordinator of schools in São Paulo. He also holds degrees in English Language Teaching, Teaching Methodology in Higher Education, and a Master's in Education.
