Suanam Espaço Cultural holds Mega Brechó this Saturday (24)

The event takes place from 10am to 7pm at Suanam's headquarters, located at 139 Ferreira Pena Street, Centro.

Concerned with conscious consumption and sustainability, the Suanam Cultural Space holds this Saturday (8/24) a big event with more than 20 thrift stores on display, as well as gastronomy and beverage exhibitors. The event takes place from 10am to 7pm at Suanam's headquarters, located at Rua Ferreira Pena, 139, Centro.

The first thrift store of the cultural space will have free admission and a program full of activities such as art workshops for children, live music, conversation circle and lots of fun.

"It is a great opportunity for those who want to renew their wardrobe in a conscious and cost-effective way. This is only the first edition of this event, which already has a second edition scheduled for September", says the partner and manager of the site, Carla Andrade.

Awareness

Conscious consumption will be one of the topics raised by the organizers of the event at Suanam. "Conscious consumption facilitates everyday practices, changes in habits, and strengthens the economy, because in the right way it encourages people to innovative methods such as: planning, purchasing research, consumption necessary for survival, reusing products and packaging, separating waste, and sharing ideas that aim to improve people's quality of life."
