The State Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy launched, last Thursday night (10/24), the site of the Amazonas Theater. The launch took place on the stage of the theater, preceding the concert of the Amazonas Philharmonic in celebration of 350 years of Manaus.
According to the State Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy, Marcos Apolo Muniz, the Theater's official and exclusive webpage was a necessity since the space is one of the main show houses in the world.
"People from all over the world seek information about the Teatro Amazonas, which is an icon, a symbol of our state. Therefore it was necessary to gather all the information about it in one place, a direct channel for the public who wants to know what the programming is, tourists who plan a visit to the space and also for those who need to do research," he said. "We chose this date because we understand it as a gift to the city," he pointed out.
In teatroamazonas.com.brthe public finds the schedule of shows, news, historical timeline, trivia, old and current images, service on visitation and technical information.
Director of the Teatro Amazonas, Cândido Jeremias, said that the site will also facilitate communication with cultural producers who want to schedule an agenda in the space.
"We have made available all the technical information that is necessary for those who are going to hold an event at the theater: use manual, technical rider, seating chart, and blueprints," he said. "Another highlight is the link for online ticket sales, which will facilitate the process.
The site has a modern layout, fully responsive, and can be viewed on major devices such as cell phones, tablets, notebooks, and PCs. Seeking to meet the diverse public, it also has accessibility tools.
"I tried to transmit the grandiosity of the Teatro Amazonas in this project, which was developed in partnership with the Teatro team and historians. We hope that the site can be a reference for everyone who wants information about this great heritage of the State of Amazonas," said Jonei Picanço web designer responsible for the creation and layout of the site.
