This Saturday (3/16), starting at 8pm, the Amazonas Theater receives the show "Dudu sings Brazilwith musician Dudu Brasil. The presentation will include a diverse repertoire, with authorial songs, as well as rhythms from north to south. Admission to the show is free, but visitors can also bring 1kg of non-perishable food to help the "Frassineti" social action project.
A trip through the Brazilian diversity of rhythms is the proposal of the presentation that counts, in its repertoire, with works by composers such as Milton Nascimento, Chico da Silva, Pinduca, Tom Jobim, and Vinicius de Moraes, and songs by the artist himself, such as "Samba do alistamento", "Curumim", and "Águas passadas", among others.
"I always wanted to sing Brazil as a whole. To be attached to only one part has never been my focus. And this is the proposal of the show: to offer the public a range of Brazilianness, with samba, songs from Minas Gerais, toadas, carimbó, and Bossa Nova," said the artist.
The singer also highlights the expectation for the presentation with the new project. "It is a work designed for all audiences, so that the various musical tastes can be combined into one. This way, we hope that everyone will enjoy a lot with us, it is a party for everyone", he said.
The presentation counts with the participation of singers Elias Moreira, Dell Solano and Márcia Siqueira. The food collected at the event will be destined to the "Frassinetti" project, an action of social responsibility of the Santa Dorotéia College, which has been doing volunteer work for more than 15 years.
